It’s been quite a while since I actually posted something about cooking on the blog, but it’s not because I don’t cook anymore, it’s mainly because what I cook is so delicious that I don’t get to take photos in time 😀 But this salad I have been cooking all summer long and every one who hears about it wants to know the recipe. It’s quite famous and traditional in Romania, but I haven’t seen it being cooked anywhere else I went outside the country.
Finally a relaxed weekend with time to go to the market and buy fresh vegetables and time to cook a delicious dinner.
Lately I’ve been making all sorts of pies, and this time I tried the mushroom pie.
- mushrooms (about 400g) – fresh or from the can
- sour cream
- 4 eggs
- cheese (depending on what you have or what you like more)
- green onions
- fresh leek
- pie dough (I normally buy frozen dough from the supermarket, but you can also prepare it yourself)
- dill and parsley
I received the best feedback so far from my boyfriend for this recipe, so it’s really worth posting it on the blog. He even said that the trout was more delicious that the one we have at a famous restaurant in Romania. For the whole evening, he kept saying that he has never eaten something as good and that it’s my best dish ever. So here it is, ladies and gentlemen : Trout and vegetables in the oven.
Spinach soup is a very fast and easy dish, full of vitamins and energy. I cooked it last night as I was in the mood for something delicious, but light.
Fresh or frozen spinach – about 400 grams
Parsley and dill
